Our People

Our employees are the heart of who we are. From our creameries to our corporate offices, we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, safe, and empowered to grow. We invest in our people because their expertise, passion, and care make our products — and our company — stronger.

We focus on:

Training, development, and career growth opportunities

We invest in our people through ongoing learning, hands-on experience, and clear career pathways — helping every team member grow their skills and build a future with us.

Building an inclusive, equitable workplace culture

We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered — fostering a culture rooted in inclusion, collaboration, and opportunity for all.

Internship and early career pathways into food and dairy

We’re proud to support the next generation of talent by providing meaningful internship and early career opportunities that offer real-world experience in the food and dairy industry.

Health, safety, and well-being across all facilities

The safety and well-being of our employees is our top priority. We maintain high standards across our facilities to ensure a safe, supportive environment where our teams can thrive.

Our Community

We believe strong communities are essential to a strong business. That’s why we partner locally, give back meaningfully, and support the places where we live and work.

From our dairy farm partners to neighborhood organizations, we’re committed to making a positive, lasting impact beyond our walls.

Our commitment includes:

Local partnerships and charitable giving

Through partnerships and volunteer efforts, we support organizations such as Second Harvest, Community 2000, Dairy Breakfasts on the Farm, and many others—contributing food, funds, and time to deliver cheese to local schools, support hunger relief, and strengthen the communities we serve.

Volunteerism and employee engagement

Emmi offers 4 hours of paid time off for employees to participate in volunteer opportunities.

Supporting regional agriculture and family farms

We are dedicated to delivering the highest quality specialty cheeses while creating lasting value for our communities by being an active participant in regional and national agricultural activities by partnering with Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin.

Investing in the long-term vitality of rural and dairy communities

By caring for the land, resources, and communities that support us, we’re helping ensure that we can continue to craft exceptional cheese for generations to come.
